Paper painting

Use only paper

A mixture of paper-cutting, chigiri-e(Collage of pieces of colored paper)and Japanese paper collage.

It is expressed by a unique technique.

 

No paint or pencil case required.

Paper becomes paint

The blade (knife) becomes a brush.

We mainly use Japanese unique WASHI=Japanese paper.

Adjust the color by stacking ultra-thin paper that is only available in Japan.

Other vivid Chiyogami patterns

Incorporating the color of uneven dyed Japanese paper,

We are enhancing the elegant texture.

 

Then, by coloring and assembling each part, it becomes three-dimensional.

 

Washi is not a single item

Due to differences in production area, raw materials, and manufacturing method

There are a wide variety of types and uses.

 

Fascinated by the "breath" of the climate

To draw it as a respected "material"

It is also a conversation with a self who loves hometown and culture.

Pursuing expressions that have never been seen before, without being bound by existing things

If you can create a work that will also color the hearts of the viewer

I am the happiest.

紙彩画
ー紙で綴るコンポジションー

 
紙のみを使い
切り絵、ちぎり絵、貼り絵を混合させた
独自の技法で表現しています。

絵具、筆入れ不用。
紙が、絵具となり
刃(ナイフ)が筆と成す。
   
主に用いるのは、日本固有の和紙。
特質な技法として
極めて薄い和紙、典具帖紙を
貼り重ね色の混ぜ合わせを施
ナイフの刃先で削り
 色面を描き上げます。

そのほか鮮やかな千代紙の柄や
むら染め和紙の色味取り入れ、
雅やかな風合い
を高めております。

和紙といっても単一にあらず
産地、原料、製法の違いから
種類とその用途は、実に多種多様です。

風土の〝息吹〟に魅せられ
それを尊び〝材〟として描くことは、
郷土と文化を愛でる自己との語らいでもあります。

既有なモノにとらわれず未視な表現と
可能性を追求し、
見る者の心をも彩る作品造りに
打ち興じることができれば
幸甚この上なしです​。
